The Medical & Dental Consultants Association (MDCA) is a representative organisation for consultant members of the medical and dental professions who are in independent practice in Ireland.
Founded on the principles of collegiality, clinical excellence, professional independence and patient advocacy, we work together to support one another in the provision of the highest quality medical and dental care to our patients.
We are an independent, member-led association built on the conviction that together we are stronger. We support consultants at every stage of their career — from those returning to Ireland or moving into full-time private practice, to established specialists navigating the realities of modern independent medicine and dentistry.
For our patients, we defend the right to continuity of care, freedom of choice, and timely access to the specialist they trust.
